Kester has been successful in helping its customers towards implementing lead-free production. Across Europe the start of summer also means the official start of lead-free soldering. With the EnviroMark® 918 lead-free no-clean solder paste, Kester has been one of the forerunners towards supplying performing products to the electronics assembly. Lead-free soldering is not as easy as SnPb soldering therefore the need for user friendly lead-free soldering materials is essential.
Besides solder pastes, Kester has excellent wave soldering fluxes such as the alcohol based 959T and VOC-free 979.
With the K100LD alloy, Kester can supply a low-cost lead-free alternative besides the classical SAC305 solder bar. Finally, the top performing no-clean solder wires 275 and 48 complete the lead-free package.
