Bar Solder

The quality of Kester Bar Solder is guaranteed by using high purity metals and strict quality control standards. All bar solders meets or exceeds the requirements of QQ-S-571, ASTM B32, and IPC/J-STD-006. Kester extrudes its bar products to minimize oxidization, limit segregation, and provide a denser grain structure than cast bar.

Ultrapure®
Kester's Ultrapure® is the industry standard for soldering applications, which require maximum reliability of solder joints, especially for surface mounted components, where only solder of the highest purity is acceptable. Ultra Low Dross Bar
Kester's Ultra Low Dross is designed to decrease the amount of dross generated in a wave solder or dip solder process. Kester's Ultra Low Dross is manufactured with virgin metals which meet the high standards of Kester Ultrapure® line of Bar Solders. In addition, Kester incorporates low dross technology to greatly reduce the amount of dross generated while in use. Kester's Ultra Low Dross yields less dross, brighter joints, more connections per pound of solder, and reduces need for touch-up.

E-Bar
Complicated electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards require not only conformance to industry material specifications, but also alloys completely free of non-metallic oxides. Kester, in cooperation with the electronics industry designed and developed Kester E-Bar. It is the answer to thorough metallic continuity, increased fluidity and reduced surface tension.
