Wave Soldering Process Control

Course Summary
This course has been specially designed to maximize your company's wave soldering manufacturing line and thus reduce or eliminate costly rework operations. The course covers the main issues concerned with reviewing the wave soldering process from initial materials selection through to monitoring the line output with SPC methodology.

The course offers solid technical information coupled with practical no-nonsense advice on how to address problematical issues usually associated with the wave soldering process. Successful case studies are discussed that show solutions to issues normally encountered in a wave soldering operation.

The course details a step by step approach intended not only to give you a better understanding of the critical elements that impact line yields but the measures you can take to increase its profitability. If you are already in or seeking to be in a position to implement favorable wave soldering production line modifications, this course will be of significant benefit. This course will help greatly in developing a solid understanding of the wave soldering process variables which in turn leads to improved production yields and product reliability.

Attendee Profile
This course is designed for process and manufacturing line engineers who are constantly challenged to optimize product yields and reduce rework operations in a wave soldering production environment. It will also benefit line supervisors, group leaders and line operators wishing to understand these processes and who can then facilitate immediate and effective process solutions.
