Kester is a subscriber to the E-TASC (Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains) web based corporate responsibility (CR) program.
E-TASC (Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains) is a web based system created through the collaboration of the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) and the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (EICC) Group as a voluntary program to manage corporate responsibility (CR) using supplier self-assessments to account for the social, environmental and economic impacts of their business practices. E-TASC (Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains) uses a standards-based approach for improving supplier compliance with codes related to labor, health, safety, ethics and environmental activity. Information generated from supplier selfassessments and a common audit process is available in the E-TASC system while protecting the confidentiality of supplier relationships.
